Come prepared
Dress comfortably so you can test many mattresses.
Bring your favorite pillow to replicate the proper sleeping position.  If you don’t have a favorite pillow, we will fit you for the perfect pillow based on your sleeping position.  Know the dimensions of your current set (bottom of bed rail to the top of the mattress). Know length and width as well.  Know your room dimensions for possibly purchasing a larger set. You may decide to upgrade.

Be smart in-store
Start with our comfort test / technology test on Pillowtop, Plush, Firm & Conforming.
Determine your comfort preference first. Next try our other technologies CONFORMING if you are curious to experience different feels, including memory foam mattresses and latex foam mattresses. At this point, do not worry about the details of what’s in the mattress, we are fitting you for the proper mattress before we get into the nuts & bolts.

Know four basic comfort levels when you test
Each manufacturer may have different names, so choose by your comfort preference. Remember: Comfort is different for everyone. So try several different comforts when you’re in the store. A good mattress should provide you with the right support at every comfort level.

Pillowtop–a very soft-feeling surface.
Plush–firmer than the Pillowtop, but less firm than cushion firm.
Cushion Firm–firmer than an ultra plush, but softer than firm.
Ultra firm–the hardest of the comfort levels.
Conforming-Feels like you are laying in the sand on the beach, this mattress conforms to the exact shape of your body.
